Union University of California is fully accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) that is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1926, an institutional accreditor of distance education institutions.
At UUC, Christian leaders can earn a masters’ degree, fully on-line, in English or Vietnamese at extremely reasonable costs. UUC removes the barriers of poverty, second language proficiency, and the inability to relocate for onsite study.
UUC offers six masters’ level certificates, the Masters of Ministry and Master of Divinity.
UUC welcomes students from all denominations and Christian faith traditions, and recruits faculty to represent the wide variety of denominations and faith traditions within the Christian Church. UUC seeks to ground our theological training within the context, insights, and theological developments of the church in the regions where our students live and minister.
UUC was established in the State of California in 1986 as a non-profit, religious corporation, approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (www.bppe.ca.gov) of the State of California to grant academic degrees, whereby "approved" means compliance with state standards as set forth in the Education Code.
